After around age 20, men stop generating new blood vessels in their genitals. These vessels are the pathways to deliver adequate blood flow that creates quality erections. Whenever there are fewer pathways or limited flow, the lower pressure = weaker erections.

We carefully choose the patients to whom we suggest this treatment because it is not covered by insurance and is relatively costly. Individuals with mild erectile dysfunction, who are currently taking pills and experiencing satisfactory results, may have the possibility to discontinue the pills entirely or require a lower dosage.
This treatment is not suitable for individuals experiencing severe erectile problems following a surgical procedure. It cannot restore erectile function in such cases, and the same applies for neurological ED.
However, individuals with mild to mild-moderate erectile dysfunction have reported significant benefits from using this device.
We aim to ensure that patients have realistic expectations as this treatment for erectile dysfunction is not yet approved by the FDA. Nevertheless, with promising ongoing research, it holds strong potential for future approval.

Age is a significant factor that impacts Erection Quality and increases the risk of erectile dysfunction (ED). While the exact estimates may vary, it is generally observed that older men are more prone to ED compared to younger men.
Diabetes is another contributing factor as it can lead to nerve damage and circulation problems, both of which can contribute to ED.
Obesity is strongly associated with ED, with up to 79 percent of individuals with ED having a body mass index (BMI) over 25.
Depression also plays a role, as there is a strong correlation between depression and ED. It is not always clear whether ED leads to depression or vice versa.
